In
Christianity,
being
saved
means
you
are
saved
from
the
penalty
of
sin.
Jesus
paid
that
penalty
on
the
cross.
When
you
trust
Jesus
for
salvation,
you
are
forgiven,
the
penalty
has
already
been
paid
and
you
are
justified
(made
righteous)
before
God.
This
is
a
once-and-for-all
transaction.
If
you
reject
Jesus,
you will remain separated from Him forever, through eternity.
