If
you
are
doubting
your
faith
because
people
say
you
can’t
prove
that
God
exists,
then
this

Psalm 22
A Psalm of David: Suffering and salvation; Christ on the cross.
This
is
said
to
be
the
most
quoted
psalm
in
the
New
Testament.
It
is
a
prayer
to
God
at
a
time
when
David
is
under
great
distress.
As
a
summary,
it
is
not
so
much
David’s
prayer
and
circumstance
that
is
of
primary
interest,
but
the
fact
that
it
is
clearly a prophetic (Messianic) psalm.

Isaiah 53
After
Psalm
22,
and
perhaps
equal
to
it
as
a
remembered
passage,
is
Isaiah
53.
This
small
chapter
of
just
12
verses
contains
a
prophecy of Jesus as the suffering servant who, perfect in himself, died for our transgressions.
Isaiah
53
is
quoted
more
frequently
in
the
New
Testament
than
any
other
Old
Testament
passage,
and
is
often
referred
to
as
the
“gospel in the OT”

Remember
the
former
things
of
old,
For
I
am
God,
and
there
is
no
other;
I
am
God,
and
there
is
none
like
Me,
Declaring
the
end
from
the
beginning,
And
from
ancient
times
things
that
are
not
yet
done,
Saying,
'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,' (Isa 46:9-10)
knowing
this
first,
that
no
prophecy
of
Scripture
is
of
any
private
interpretation,
for
prophecy
never
came
by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit (2Pe 1:20-21)
